A Life in Music

Hi! My name is Jemima and I am a local musician and piano teacher specializing in beginner and intermediate students. I first started learning the piano in 2008, making my way steadily through ABRSM exams and passing grade 8 with a merit. I am currently advancing  my training with a concert pianist and enjoy learning new repertoire while expanding my knowledge.

I began learning the harp in 2012 and have performed in a youth orchestra, weddings, and online concerts. This has given me the opportunity to perform for hundreds of people from across the globe and to arrange a few pieces for such events. I am currently working on my grade 8 exam and having fun collaborating with my musical friends.

I have been teaching piano since 2017 and helping ones work towards their goals. My students currently have a 100% pass rate with ABRSM practical exams and enjoy learning a range of music including classical, pop, and musicals; Disney is a favourite! I am a patient, and encouraging teacher and I enjoy seeing my students improve and get excited for their progress.
